The Mission: For each Cali-Bag sold, another will be donated to an underserved child in the community of Escondido California. Hopeful Stitches continues to be a proud supporter of the Switchfoot BRO-AM Foundation and its amazing beneficiaries, including A Step Beyond, Monarch School, Feeding San Diego and Challenged Athletes Foundation.
Why the "hope" in Hopeful Stitches? It might have started some 5yrs ago, listening to the song Hope is the Anthem, by Switchfoot. "Sometimes what you need is what you fight." That lyric was the beginning of a long journey, leading me to learn that courage is often about taking action in the presence of fear. To heal, to grow, to become better, you might just have to do it even if you're afraid, and go, do it bold!
